i dreamt the girl of my dreams
What vanity
i opened my eyes and cried myself
Back to sleep
She asked who i thought in this world
Was pretty
i misunderstood and said it
Wasn't she
She never blinked or winced but asked
My hand
She grew into a perfect stance
i glanced
She asked again i gave her names
She understood
i tried my best but could not pierce any
Jealousy in her eyes
She said at this time tomorrow we'll
Meet again
i thought for what but never asked
Why
She read my thoughts and replied for our
Daily bible study
Now her eyes were flawless and her heart
Was perfect
She asked if i were a Christian and she
Made me promise
i said yes and time froze i
Was talking to a perfect girl
Her hair was brown or blond but
Definitely long and wavy
Her face was ruddy and her smile
Was more pleasant than any
Perfect strawberry
Her body was form and fit but i never
Saw
The details from her neck down was there
But i only noticed her heart was perfect
She whispered in my ear i was the person
In her dreams whom she talked to God with
i awoke and froze i dreamed a perfect
Girl
Until We meet again is vanity
i know
