Girls Poem by Ivanhoe Skunkeroo

Girls

What a girl wants?
What a girl needs?
A heart that's hers for keeps? !
Nah! Social Security and Glowy beads.

Oh, that smile!
Enough to take your breath away.
Even before you blink twice,
That's gonna happen someday!

The sway of her hips,
The curves on those lips,
Magic ends, the day,
She argues over waiter tips.

She'll waltze her way,
Into your heart.
And bulldoze her way out,
After pinning you like a dart.

She'll lead you around,
And make you believe,
Saying things like,
You're the best thing that ever happened to me.

Don't be trapped by rosy lips,
And those big fake smiles.
They rarely last for 2 years and a few miles.

She appreciates that you're unique,
Your heart, your soul, your physique,
Laughs at your silly jokes,
Then suddenly realizes that you are and not,
Like other normal blokes.

You're young, you think
You know when love is true.
You think, it happens just once.
It isn't so,
When you realize, that'd be some news to you.

She says, You're the One!
Don't you go believin her, son...
Coz, gals just wanna have fun.
