~ Give Me Your Tears ~ Poem by Steve A. Politte

Give me all your tears
and I will take them to the sea
I am the keeper of all tears
for it is I who will set them free.

They will mix with other tears
from the world both far and wide
folks just like you in stressful times
who felt such a need to cry.

Those tears of hurt and pain
of loneliness in your heart
burdens you've carried for so long
for in the oceans they will depart.

Tears you've shed because of loss
of someone loved so very much
those tears I will release for you
and your loved one will keep in touch.

Those tears that hold to a past
where you were locked by sin
you must released those unto Me
for My child you have been forgiven.

the tears that come with depression
that make Me seem so far away
I will never abandon you or forget
you are in My heart this very day.

If you have trouble finding them
and your well of tears have dried
bring up the ones deep in your heart
those tears that you've tried to hide.

The tears that escape your weary eyes
because you have been betrayed
by leaders who have succumbed to evil claws
denying Me and taking your rights away.

Give those tears that you've had the longest
that have weigh the heaviest on your mind
the tears embedded deep inside your soul
the ones that you are so afraid to find.

You must trust and have hope in Me
amid the tears in your life this day
For I am the way, the truth, and life
I will take you unto to My heart to stay.

I will take all the tears you give
and as I release them to the sea
your heart will feel so much lighter
that you gave them unto Me.
