Giving Up Poem by sammy slait

Giving Up

The blood in my vains runs cold,
My heart slows the beating,
The brain stops thinking.

A body that stops trying,
A mind that stops working,
A soul that has stopped caring.

Life sometimes seems so pointless,
Unless you have something to fight for,
What if the love of your lifehurts you,
Do you keep fighting.

Or just stop trying,
Let the pain consume you,
Let the hate take my soul,
Let my body become fertilizer,

Why do we try so hard,
Isn't it just easier to give up,
Why should I try,
With so much pain.

The love I once had,
Has left my side,
Left me shatterd.

Why do this to me,
Why hurt me so much,
Do you like to see me cry,
Does it make you happy,
To see em suffer.
