Thought I saw you today,
but then I looked again and realized it was just my imagination
Everyday I look for you, hoping we would run into each other
I don't know if you would rembemer me
You were the sweetest person I knew
You never judged me, you gave me unconditional love
I don't know what I would say to you
I have rehearsed it over and over in my head
Never finding the right words
The only thing I can say is I did the best I could
and that was not enough
Giving you up was the hardest thing I had to do
I hope you understand why I had to give you away
I knew someone would love you just as much as I love you
I knew they would give a better life then I
I hope in time you can forgive me for what I did
I still love you always will
You will always be forever in my heart and prayers
