Glimmer

You never know less pain and you never feel less broken
You just feel with every breath every word you've left unspoken
Bitterness is tarnished with the faintest taint of light
And there's beauty in the twisted and there's beauty in the night

And you understand there must be beauty from the bitterness that's sown
It glimmers from the shadows from inside the hearth o' stone
There's two sides of every river, each it's own delicate ensamble
And two sides merge into one, holding steady in their might
