Take me with you
To the realm where love
Shines like a sun
Where when day breaks
I will pluck a flower to
Put in your bun

Take me with you
To the world aglow with
Your half smile
Where in your presence
My heart jumps and time
Rests for a while

Take me with you
In this confusion of life
Don’t leave me alone
Rain upon me your
Beads of affection else
My heart will be a stone
