God Poem by Tanya Singh

God

You are goodness and joy
Yet, sadness and gore galore
You are the unifier
Yet, world is divided in pieces
You are the kindness and enlightenment
Yet, hatred is the soul curry

You came with me when I stepped out
My label stuck by default
My God chosen
My path for redemption staring

I walk my path by the rules
Give it back and contest the sins
Do not question the lord
Yet, I see no abdundant glee

Today, the supreme creator
Justify your presence in my being
Show me the light
The horizon is dark
Else, don't make me fear your wrath.

I want to believe you
Give me the reason to believe
Or let me chose my own sins
What more suffering in Hell?
Than the Hell I am already witnessing
In your perfect creation.
