God Knows

God knows exactly what it will take
To reach you where you are
An alignment of things in your life
To bring you to draw nearer
And come to know the One who gives
Us life after our final breath
The next one being our praise in Heaven
To Him who conquered death

My soul can know the God of love
It's no stretch of imagination
My Saviour died to offer me
A wonderful so great Salvation
And by His Holy Spirit gives
New life when we believe
Is there a repentant heart today
That is willing to receive

I recognize the hand of God
In all that is around me
How blest to know Him greater though
In the love that can surround me
And bring me to that hiding place
Where it's just my God and I
Where I surrender all of me
To be graced by His supply!

O Father now I come to Thee
My heart needs medication
I feel the pain of brokenness
Though art the great Physician
Only You can mend the wounds
That others can not see
How deep the Love of Jesus Christ
May it wash now over me!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
