God gives us faith, He gives us grace 1Co.12: 9
The will His Son to please 2Co.9: 14
He opens hearts to seek His face Ac.16: 14
Through prayer on bended knees Jn.15: 7
Perhaps you’ve served the Lord for years
You’ve learned to walk His way
Yet nothing new in life occurs
It’s all the same each day
Yet take a look down deep inside
Examine self today
What there you find, in Christ confide
When next through Him you pray
Perhaps Salvation came to call
When Jesus knocked your door
Perhaps you said, “I know it all
I’ve heard it all before
I’ve been away the shortest time
I sought the world once more
But fell again to life of crime
Beyond the devil’s door
I thought my God I’d never fail
Yet gradually it came
Until once more in Satan’s jail
God saw a heart of shame”
“Arise! Leave now, the sea despair
Arise from where you’re found
Grow strong once more through daily prayer
Stand firm on solid ground
Allow my Spirit cleanse your heart
Be free of Satan’s weed
For whom my Son has set apart
Is truly free indeed”.
