God's Eye Is On Me Poem by Clara Evelyn Clark Cummings

God's Eye Is On Me

Rating: 5.0

God has a Star that is focused on me
Riding the starlight His angel I see
Beaconing upward from darkness of night
Into the realm of God's heaven so bright God sent a raindrop to dampen my cheek
Soft as a teardrop so gentle and meek
Dropped from a cloud that hung low in the sky
Sent to revive by God's own watchful eye God sent a sunbeam to shine in my hair
Showing the beauty that He planted there
Gives me His strength as I overcome strife
Lighting my pathway to guide me through life God sent His Son to redeem me from sin
By his shed Blood he has cleansed me within
My soul it waiting to join him on high
That's where I'm going the moment I die.
