I see the world from inside my head,
I see the pain, the hunger, the dread.
I hear the prayers that my people scream,
To change the world is my only dream.
You ask me for life, for chances and more,
When I don't reply you think I ignore.
I gave you my all, my perfect creation,
But you accuse me of growing complacent.
You think I don't care about all of my children,
You think I can stand to see disasters kill them.
You think I can stop it, assume I can help,
But now you must learn to rely on yourself.
