God With Us Poem by Paul Sebastian

God With Us

Rating: 5.0

In a hay-filled crib, a Baby
Lie in swaddling clothes
Gazing, Blessed Mother Mary
And Joseph, her faithful spouse
Silent summer-cold night
A veil of holiness surrounds
Whilst heavenly stars shine bright
Angelic praises sweetly resound
Behold! God has come to be with us!

The Messiah, man been awaiting
To deliver man from sin
To bring joy everlasting
Live as co-heirs of our King
Whilst on earth and in heaven
For all eternity in His Kingdom
Giving us the Bread of Life from heaven
From Father's glory He's come!
Behold! He's come to dwell among us!

As the days of old prophets had sung
As oracles of God's voice
Promising, Our Saviour is to come!
May heaven and earth rejoice!
For God has given first, His love:
His only Begotten Son
While we were yet sinners!
Our Redemption has come!
Revealing of His Love and Glory to us!
Let all men on earth rejoice!
For man's salvation, has come!

A great poem celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ! The whole world partakes of this great joy! Into a rife ridden world, He has come with the message of love and peace to all! Top marks!
