Gods Gift
baby dont be shy
you are soo fly
you make me feel a if i was high
so high in the sky that
i feel the angels around
but yet my feetb are
still on the ground
how do you do the things you do
i cant believe iam with you
gods given me a gift
that gift is you
you are the bright flame
that lightens up my day
its better than fortune and fame
maybe one day you can share my name
It is nice to read a love poem from a young man's perspective. I thought the reference to flying as high as the angels was very creative. This was a simple poem. It had some good rhyme in it. I thought it had the best ending a love poem can have, of course. All in all, a good effort and a clean clear poem. GW62
