God's Grace

God's grace covered my sin
When His mercy came flooding in
Simultaneously I felt His touch
Through the presence of the Holy Ghost
Just my God and I as witness
And a few million angels as well
Heaven became my realization
No longer a worry about Hell


Though I often had heard Hallelujah
That day it became personal to me
For my Saviour paid the debt for my sin
Hallelujah! ...Hallelujah! ...Glory!
I knew I'd never be the same again
For I was transported to cloud nine
Only a sinner saved by grace
Can experience such a blessing divine

Many an old hymn has come to my mind
The songs that have led me to Christ
That lifted my soul to acknowledge His worth
The worth of His great sacrifice
You will never...never! ...find such love
Other than in that Lord
Who stands ready! ...ready to forgive
In spite of your sins record...

Don't leave it off until another day
Today your soul can be free
From the very prison of sins dominion
Praise God...to faith's victory
Hallelujah I have found Him
Praise God you can find Him too
Seek ye the Lord while He may be found
And you'll have a Hallelujah too! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
