Goes & Does

Rating: 5.0

'Goes'
rhymes with so many more words than it would
rhyme with if it
rhymed with 'fuzz'
as does 'does'.

Let's let 'does'
rhyme with shoes ooze
lose ruse amuse and Sue's.

So many more
rhymes for 'does' when it
rhymes with those than when it
rhymes with 'buzz'.

'Speaking of 'those',
let's let 'does'
sound like female deer, '
came a call from the opposite corner.

'Let's let 'does'
rhyme with rose knows doughs
froze chose and bros.'

A fun little poem. However, I have never seen the word 'does' rhyme with 'shoes', at least not here in Utah, U.S.A. Here, shoes rhymes with blues, news, tattoos, etc. There in Australia, I really can't say. I must be doing something wrong; Can't find a rhyme for billabong!
