Gold Poem by Colm WJ Mccormack

Gold

My body is my chest, and my memories are my treasure.
Many trinkets have rusted, perished and decayed from bad weather.
But among the frail steel, there are pieces of gold. That'll always glisten and never corrode. At times they seem tarnished, old and obsolete. But layer under layer the colour, they keep.
