(JANUARY / Rome Italy)

Gone

Indescribable
moments

Lost
now

Last
moments

Frost
now

Intensity

Propensity
of words

'Never again'

Linger on
the edgescape
of where we'd been

Fades into ferry wake
Silence
difficult to take

Suddeness
of leaving

Of love

Lost in
dark walls
of your face

Beneath
shadows
above

One
moment
in time

Sky
Turquiose
Falling

You
Still
M ine

Bright
Blue
water

Vanilla
skin

Never
knowing
where
we were
going

Not
certain
where
we'd
been

Lost sight
in your
sapphire
eyes

Lost sense
in the
ache
of my
thighs

Emotions
swelled
intooceans

Over us

When
tomorrow
comes

I will ask

Where to?

The stars?

So lonely

The sky?

Too blue

All
the
colors

Gone

No
more
you

Poem of the Day

poet Charles Stuart Calverley

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
