Gone
Suddenly it hurts the most
the memories that i hold so close
i stand with tears inside my eyes
reminded of our sad goodbyes
i stand here in the rain
feeling so much pain
the world seeming to fall apart
as a hole emerged inside my heart
you put up such a fight
that very difficult night
i never wanted it to be so
but you were ready to go
i tried to hold my strength
as you took your final breath
i miss you every day
its hard to be okay
