Gonna Need More Gift Wrap Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Gonna Need More Gift Wrap

Then there was this girl,
This one girl,
But isn't that how its always been,
Since the beginning of time,
No one else exists with the sight of you,
The mere thought of you,
Something special, a present seen before the present,
Opposite hearts that beat in unison, insecure in depth to what's felt once were away,
None exsitent,
A love that blooms from the warmth lips could make,
The heart shaped motion formed before certain words are said,
Petals picked from the stem of where her heart was found,
A single seed that's impreganated a single thought,
Slowly growing into what we desire,
Reason becomes purpose, did we ever see anything if everything was felt,
A lone baby that bounces around in a plastic globe, staring in wonderment with eyes closed,
A living breathing thing, unknown to the reality of how things work,
That's given birth to the dreams shared between you & I,
A candy soon to rot in cavity, pleasure before pain, the endless seconds your away,
The gift of you becomes reality,
And to think,
I never use to care what people thought,
