I saw a friend the other day
and whispered in theire ear
you know your loved ones not at this headstone
even though your words they'll hear
never far away from you
the spirit is near by
they'll hold your hand and laugh with you, and cry the tears you cry
and so my friend your not alone
your life must carry on
have faith in god and do not fear
it was the shell they left behind
the soul is in a better place,
no need to ask another
for this i tell you my good friend are the words spoke by my brother
