'Good Morning' Poem by NiQi Deveaux

'Good Morning'

Hoping that sweetly you slept
And into dreams you slowly crept
Fields of flowers welcoming you in
Drawing promises on your skin
Of fantasies wild and faery wings
Talking about glorious wonderful things
How you're just perfect in who you are
Accepting you, praising you, the morning star
With skies so blue, and fields of green
Sunshine flowing through breechen screens
Crisp waters, trickling, bubbling brooks
Wild flowers poking from every nook
Calling you closer to breath their scent
And gracefully, peacefully you often met
The sweetest winds that graced your nose
The softest earth that touched your toes
The tallest trees that swings hang from
A park for you to come undone
That lazily you lingered and peace swept in
That brought the biggest, most happiest grin
That you closed your eyes, heaved great deep sighs
And that you'll remember it.... Till the end of time
Morning!
