I woke up Sunday morning,
Reluctantly rolled out of bed,
Climbed up to my little’s room
And kissed her sweet forehead.
Joked about her morning breath,
I teased, and teased, and teased,
Wrapped her tight into my arms
And squeezed, and squeezed, and squeezed.
Showered her with kisses and
Smothered her with love
Thanked God for this growing gift
That I love, I love, I love.
