Goodbye Poem by Jacob Andrew Jarman

Goodbye

Rating: 4.8

I look at you, a shell
a desolate memory of what you once were
the holes in your skin
fuel your demise
the powder on your flesh,
strengthens your lies
you were my rock
you were my soul
you were my support
now i hold you as you shake
cover your scars
wrap you in cloth
now i hide the pain
smile at you
as i pull over the sheet
and say goodbye
watch your life
slowly die
watch the flames
engulf you
