Gossip Poem by Leaking Pen

Gossip

Headache is Man
Because Man can
Loosen the tongue
Morals die young.

Words rapidly come out
Face with a ghostly pout
Scares tender love away
Silence is man’s prey.

Gossiping ears are deaf
Make absent God the ref.
God for sure is dead
Where gossip is bred.

Chitter-chatter
Jibber-jabber
Spare the cat
All the chat
All it needs
Are its feeds!

Is gossip fun and friendly?
Or poisonous and deadly!
It seems like cats purring
Gossip is rats stirring!

“Shih! ” scared word of the day
But its a needle in a haystack.
Gossip is master at stay and play
A loose tongue leads man astray.

Sticks and stones
May break my bones,
But gossip will never hurt me
My soul birthed guilt free!
