Got Fed Up Poem by Ima Ryma

Got Fed Up

Mama scorpion, single mom,
Papa was nowhere on the scene.
The nest was becoming less calm
As the kids scurried 'twixt and 'tween.
Her offspring were springing in size,
All getting bigger, day by day.
She was tiring of constant cries
For her to bring more food their way.
But because they were her offspring,
She did her best instinctively
To hold back her impulse to sting
All those brats and thus set her free.

The scorpion kids chowed down, yup,
Crawled on Mama and ate her up.
