Grace Stepped In
To live a blameless life was my dream
Tried to fill my void with holy cream
My own effort to stay guiltless was real
But my desire invited all hell
I messed up; I shattered into pieces,
Broken; guilty, and very hopeless
But GRACE stepped in...
Made whole and now perfectly restored
Not the same person I was before
Was a sinner from the beginning
Jesus gave me a new beginning
