Great people also live and die
Open and close their eyes

Only when their eyes are closed
They continue to live
In the hearts of minds of others

Great people die and do not die
Which is why
So many of who are not great
Long to be like them
Envy them
And write our own small poems
With their lives and their fates
Often in our minds.
