Greatness Of Sachin Tendulkar Poem by Francis Duggan

Greatness Of Sachin Tendulkar

As a cricket batsman he is the World's best
One never found to be wanting when put to the test
The best of goods comes in small parcels to him does apply
Greatness of Sachin Tendulkar none ought to deny

The great little Indian the legend of story and song
The title of the World's supreme batsman to him does belong
His one hundred test century from him one game away
For the marvelous Sachin lets hear the hooray

Just a tiny fellow but the sportsman complete
In his thirty eight year against the World's best he compete
At a time of his life with his physical prime years long gone
The great little batsman he goes on and on

Great cricketers come and great cricketers go
And eventually time becomes everyone's foe
And Sachin too will cease to live but his legend will never die
I say what is factual and fact does not lie.
