Green - Poem by Alexis Pacheco

Green smells like an apple pie freshly made out of the oven.
Green tastes like an sour and juicy sour patch kid.
Green sounds like people cheering for the D-R Falcons.
Green feels like your new comfortable slippers after a nice, cold freezing shower.
Green looks like a nice mint chocolate chip ice cream on a hot Summer day.
Green explains who I am.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I wrote this poem in elementary school 4th grade and wrote it about the color GREEN.I dedicate this poem to Ms.Bouldry for being the best 4th grade teacher ever and teaching me about poems and how to write an awesome poem.
