Greiving Suicide Poem by Monica Rose

Greiving Suicide

Rating: 5.0

One normal day he just died
He left a note in his hand
To his first love
Who was me
He said he loved me
Just couldn't take the pain anymore
The scars all over his body
Proved he wasn't lying.
My heart sank when I saw him
Lifeless, there on the floor
Blood was still pouring
From his heart I once loved
Just remember I will always love you...
Later that week:
A funeral was held
I was the last one to leave
I knelled beside the casket
Said I loved him
Kissed my hand
Touched his pale cold lips
Let tears roll down my cheeks
Watched him get enclosed
Into the darkness
Let him head into the light
May you rest in peace...

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

If this really happened, I'm so sorry you had to witness something like that. This poem alone makes me wanna cry. I can't imagine how bad it could have made you feel. I like how you don't hold back, and you just let everything out.
