Grief Plants A Garden Of Memories
Grief plants a garden of memories
And nurtures them deep in our heart
When a familiar face comes to memory
The grieving again wants to start
This is a process of healing
God's grieving grace interceeds
Ministering unto us with His presence
Administering to all of our needs
Grief has a place ever present
For when a familiarity comes to the fore
Grief comes along in partnership
As we rehearse the days over and over
And silently tears start their rolling
Again on a well driven path
But grace sustains as our anchor
What a wonderful God that we have
Wherever there's grief there's great grace
Hallelujah for that relief
God gives us comfort in sorrows
Praise God for a faith based belief
Because of the Resurrection
Our loved one's we'll see again
Now we have grace for grieving here
Until our reunion in glory begins!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
