Guiding Star
I miss you with every breath,
You were my guiding star,
Directing my every step,
Whether you're near or far.
Like a boat lost at sea,
I need you more than ever,
To shine your light on me,
And tell me it's not forever.
That soon one day we'll meet,
Father and daughter together,
Just like it was meant to be,
Two souls connected in heaven.
