Hallowed Ground - Poem by Diana van den Berg

I will hold sacred
all of where you are buried
not just the bordered circle
around your tree and flowers
and border of grass.

I will water and cut the grass
outside your grave
under you
and love you
forever.

Poet's Notes about The Poem
