Halloween Poem by Anna Hardin

Halloween

Rating: 0.5

Kids go from door to door,
getting candy and galore,
Ghouls, monsters, and freaks.
All filling the streets.

Trick-or-treating, they all are.
It's fun to view them from a far.
Ghouls, ghosts, vampires, angels, devils, and even princesses.
So many freaky costumes to see.

Bags of candy, oh so sweet.
As you walk, together, the pieces of candy will beat.
Rattle and crackle.
You can't wait to get home and start to eat.

'Just one piece.' a parent will say.
Yet we all know, behind their back, on the bed we will lay.
Eating and sorting candy all night.
Halloween is always my favorite holiday.
