Hand's Of Time Poem by Alex Cain

Hand's Of Time

As life goes by,
Into the hands of time.
Empty and cold,
But friends stay close.

Her heart empty like,
A cold clean cave.
As someone comes in,
Time takes them away.

As she walks down the street,
The wind whipping her face,
And rain falls down as,
Fast as her heart hits the ground.

Her smile shows but,
Her heart cry's out loud.
She prays to god for his help,
But she is not heard.

She seems so happy,
As her heart shatters like,
A baseball broken window,
But her smile shines to hide her pain.

As life goes by,
Into the hands of time.
Empty and cold,
But friends stay close.
