Happen By
She happened by the light turned green.
He happened by the light turned red.
Her car moved halfway in between.
His car suddenly lurched ahead,
As pain exploded in his chest.
Unconsciously, he pressed the gas,
Due to the cardiac arrest.
The cars became a tangled mess.
They found his heart beyond repair,
And they pronounced her D.O.A.
He was placed in intensive care.
She had signed organ use okay.
She happened by his life to give.
He happened by her gift to live.
