Happier Without You. Poem by Destiny Hannan

Happier Without You.

As I lay on this cold floor
I feel my heart beating slower and slower
And as my life passes before my eyes
I see you.
I see the times we were happy together
And i thought you were telling me the truth
When you said the words i loved to hear from you
But then your heart went black after that night
The night you took something from me
And will never come back.
The days of summer when we first met
And the warm sunny day, we saw eachother last.
But now youve turned on me
And shoved the cold knife right through my heart
And looked me in the eyes and smiled
As i fell to the ground, dieing
But now I knowIm happier without you
Not tied down by the rules you set
Leaving you, is something i dont regret.
