Happiness.. Poem by Jodie Louise Pollock

Happiness..

The trees blew and the animals played.
The skys a flame on this beautiful sunny day.
The people chatter and sit outside.
The friends of yesturday gathering far and wide.
The granmother sitting on her best behaviour.
The naughty kid around the block acting the saviour.
The foods so tasty, and the drinks devine.
The happiness surrouding is also mine.
Children playing, Teenagers gossiping, adults dancing.
Everybody doing!
The sun is setting in the orange and pink sky.
People huddle close and their hearts heave a sigh.
At the beautiful view at the end of a wonderful night.
As the last rays of the sun disapear out of sight.
Hugs and kisses are shared around.
Words of love and happiness the only sound.
People leave but promise to come again.
For the party was fun and felt like one big game.
Everyone i could see had a smile on their face.
They believe an Angel brought them to this place.
A wonderful and amazing place they called it.
It had everything and just felt perfect.
They all left smiling and laughing.
Except of course grandma, she left snoring.
The only people left were you, and me.
The others had left a bit of a mess so we could see.
But we took one look and shook our heads.
It could wait till morning, we needed our beds!
