Your life, you gave for family,
And lived all life for sake of God;
Your speech was like a homily,
Praising the Omnipotent, Lord.
You slogged life-time to rear us well,
And prayed a lot to face all strife;
At times, your work-spot was like hell,
But God gave you a good house-wife!
Your simple ways caused envy much;
Your honesty exemplary;
Your poverty was Maker’s touch;
Most virtues, you did sure marry.
Today, your birthday reminds us
That God made you from special clay;
You cycled more than boarding bus,
The love you gave, can we repay?
‘Happy Birthday, dear Daddy! ’
We’ll meet you gladly heavenly.
dedicated to our loving dad
