Though eighty years and more of age,
In life, you've got more wars to wage;
Your birthday turns another page,
That makes you prouder, greater sage.
Your trust in God and your message,
Has freed your soul from earthly cage,
To lead a life afree from rage,
That others cannot ever gauge!
Destined has God your earthly stay
For long, no matter come what may;
The proof is your birthday today,
He gave you to His love repay!
Let faith and hope in God improve;
He made this vessel with sheer love;
It ought to fill to brim to prove
This truth, till He calls you above.
Who knows His plans for righteous souls!
No one predicts your future roles;
May be, you have to change your goals,
For His heavenly rewards, doles!
‘Happy birthday, dear Poet Rajaram! '
The storm is over and back is life's calm;
May your poetry remain for world a balm;
Your name is writ in God's own palm!
Dedicated to the fellow octogenarian poet
with great respect and love
