Happy Birthday Goose Poem by Richard D Remler

Happy Birthday Goose

.....

There's a penguin, and a porpoise,
And a peacock, and a mole,
Mixing up a birthday cake
In a giant mixing bowl.

They've added tons of turnips,
And a pine-cone, and a bean.
An oboe, and a pineapple
And something very green.

Now they're frosting it with cherry fudge,
And sprinkling on some cheese.
They're writing Happy Birthday Goose
With little black-eyed peas.

But I will never taste it.
Not a smidgen of a bite.
Nope.I won't be having
Birthday Cake
Any time tonight.
