I'm looking for the meaning
Of a very familiar word
A word that I've been dreaming
But seldom ever heard

The word that I'm referring to
Has meaning, there's no doubt
It's not a word for me and you
To scream and shout about

So let me tell you what it is
Happy is the word in mind
Can't find it online or in showbiz
You'll find that you're waisting your time

The only way I know to be happy
Is to find someone that you love
It's ok to write poems, that sounds so sappy
Cause you know she was sent from above

It's not often you hear these words when I say
I'm happy and I'm glad you are here
And I hope to god you will never go away
Cause I'm happiest when you are near
