My mother once told,
When I was young,
‘I’m your earthly mother just! ’
You have another,
But heavenly mother –
The mother of Jesus Christ!
From then onwards,
I knew the truth:
My divine mother
Was the Blessed Virgin Mary!
So, I tried to pray
‘The Hail Mary’,
And to recite
The Holy Rosary!
As often as I could
Thereafter in life.
Alas! My mother,
Who gave me birth
Is dead and gone
To get her Mirth!
And I much pray
The Rosary,
And feel happy
Each night and day!
‘Happy Mothers’ Day, Mom! ’
May God bless you!
From your ever loving son,
