Happy People Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Happy People

Rating: 5.0

Happy people

They are not made of sterner stuff
They are tough
They are rough

You sanction, you suction, you puncture
They get up
Drink oveflowing cups

Beat them, imprison them, in-prism them
Keep rising
Keep grinding

Gestapo one, Secret police, special units
Bury the dead
Not much said

They carry on
Churches worse, full on
Bars, outdoors drinks, picnics spot on
Jokes, camaraderie, men, women frolicking on their phone

Happy people
Looking feeble
Happy people
Free for all

Shortages
No mortgages
Living in cottages
Power, water outages
Suppressed outrages
Expensive sausages
No kids sandwiches
List goes on
Life goes on
On and on

Happy people
Looking feeble
Happy people
Free for all

Zimbabwe the best
Put to the test
My Zimbabwe
Our Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe

A beautiful poem on your country where whatever calamities may come people remain happy and in peace. Loved the poem. Very nicely inked.

A very interesting, poignant poem about Zimbabwe, your home. Nice work.

Zimbabwe " The House of Stone" Beautiful ode to mother. She should read and feel honored as his son admires her virtue. No treasure as big as this. She will be happy to read this.
