Hardened Heart Poem by Armmina Liberté Maclang

Hardened Heart

Rating: 5.0

It’s frozen cold, my lifeless, hardened heart.
It might have never felt
The vibrancies of life, the life in art;
But who could make it melt?

I want to feel the gentle raindrops fall
Here on my skin whenever it drizzles.
My outside’s so thick; I’ve felt none at all
Of a feeling of the slightest tickle.

So I want you here now to help me feel
True love’s undeniable warmth and life,
To help release the light within concealed,
Melt the ice that puts me in pain and strife.
