Hate And Love Poem by Chris Newlash

Hate And Love

Rating: 5.0

I'm a person, a someone.
I'm this person I've become.
I give up, for I can't run,
From this person I've become.

I've shut that door, and locked it tight.
I've burned that bridge, I'm not alright,
I'm someone I don't understand.
I'm someone that I can't stand.

I'm someone, I've lost myself.
I've push away everyone else.
I've become this person, it's too late.
I've become a person that I hate.

How it's cut me up for fun.
Hate and love, oh what it's done.
To shape me into this someone.
I hate the person I've become.
