HAVE THINE OWN WAY LORD

I'm here, I may not be all there, but I'm here
Enjoying moment by moment the journey God has planned
My plans, I found to be waiting on the backburner as the Lord leads my way
He knows the thoughts and intents of my heart and has chosen to stretch me and test me
It has been an endurance test and though at times I am tempted to take a failing mark

He comes along side to be my Helper and Friend and instills fresh vigour to continue on
I know He holds the future as He has created the past and sustains the present
If anyone is Rock Solid it is He, Almighty God and the Lord God Almighty
I'm ashamed at times as I acknowledge my failure's unto Him
How weak I am in the flesh to try and do it all alone

It is hopeless and helpless, I need Him, I need Him every hour and every moment
When my heart admits that fact, I am released of self and borne of the Spirit to realms of peace and joy
Abiding in Him, I am a branch and He is the Vine
My goal henceforth is to bear fruit for the Master, thus fulfilling His calling upon my life
Have Thine own way Lord, have Thine own way!
