Hazel Eyes Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Hazel Eyes

Rating: 4.0

Her hazel eyes fountains of strength
I am the weakness of love
The wanton impatience
Healing like a winter forest
Remembering bluebells on the hills
She moves like the winds in aspen
Enthralled with a Lady of the mountains

Islands of a woman’s arms
Delicate words that open life
Touch like moonlight on her lips
Value the tears that make the heart
Soft pastels on the canvas
She leads the way into the summer
Hazel eyes like a wild river of Idaho
