Eyes of hazel, and a cute little smile
Lips of a rose, laughing all the while
A tiny little fae, but her wings are no more
Washed up on a fantastical shore
Eyes of hazel, fluttering awake
Light returning, and a world to intake
Light feet patter down the hall
Bringing happiness and joy for all
My little fairy child, with the face of a fae
Reminds me of a woman no longer here today
a smile linger, and a little tickle
When she looks away, a tear may trickle
For her hazel eyes never saw her mother
A loving woman that loved like no other
My eyes of hazel, holding back a tear
Hugging the child that I hold most dear
